👉 Senior Flink Engineer
🟣 You will be:
designing and implementing new functionalities for a real-time threat detection platform,
building and extending streaming pipelines using Apache Flink,
developing business logic mainly in Flink SQL, with critical components implemented using Java Datastream API,
maintaining and troubleshooting production-grade distributed systems,
improving platform performance, scalability, and reliability,
supporting internal teams using the solution,
evaluating new technologies and building proof-of-concepts for specific use cases,
contributing to the continuous development of an internal platform for managing Flink SQL jobs,
having opportunities to contribute to open-source projects.
🟣 Your profile:
strong hands-on experience with Apache Flink,
solid experience with Flink SQL,
practical knowledge of Java, especially in distributed/streaming systems,
experience working with Apache Kafka,
good understanding of Kubernetes,
experience with Flink Kubernetes Operator,
familiarity with pyFlink,
ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions,
strong problem-solving skills in complex distributed environments,
good communication skills and collaborative mindset,
fluent English,
practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery.
🟣 Nice to have:
cloud-native environments, especially AWS,
workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal,
Java ecosystem frameworks, including Spring Boot and Spring Batch,
databases and storage technologies like PostgreSQL, Redis, or Neo4j,
monitoring and observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus),
logging and analytics platforms such as ELK Stack,
experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work,
interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
