🟣You will be:

• designing, implementing, and maintaining secure enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS/Azure), ensuring high availability and performance,

• configuring, operating, and troubleshooting routing, switching, firewalls, wireless networks, and secure access control solutions in line with security best practices,

• monitoring network performance, proactively identifying issues, and leading incident, problem, and change activities in line with ITIL processes, including clear rollback planning,

• collaborating with security, cloud, and operations teams to support security incident response, deliver network improvements, and ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.

🟣Your profile:

• knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud,

• Deep hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies, ideally recent CCNP or equivalent level,

• strong practical knowledge of firewalls, including Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or equivalent,

• familiarity with wireless technologies and secure access control (e.g. Cisco ISE),

• experience using monitoring platforms (e.g. LogicMonitor, PRTG) and interpreting performance data,

• strong understanding of network security principles including segmentation, encryption, and access control,

• clear understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change,

• excellent analytical and communication skills,

• confidence in change implementation, with strong awareness of network stability and rollback planning,

• eligibility for UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance.

Work from EU and a work permit to work from EU are required.

🟣Nice to have:

• exposure to SD-WAN solutions or cloud-network integration,

• experience with content switching or load balancing (e.g. F5, Kemp, Citrix NetScaler),

• familiarity with network scripting/automation (e.g. Python, Ansible),

• understanding of ISO27001 controls and how they apply to networks,

• experience supporting security incident response or integrating with SIEM platforms.
