Team: 20-person Scrum team responsible for separate microservices

Our Client is a Swiss Company related to blockchain technology.The company is a leader in managing both digital & crypto assets trading. By assisting the entire lifecycle infrastructure of digital trading assets, the company provides safe and hassle-free solutions for financial institutions.

Working for a leader in digital asset trading is an exclusive opportunity to get involved in revolutionary blockchain technology, which is one of the fastest developing technologies, gaining more and more applications in various areas.Currently, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to the team who will be involved in CI/CD process related to strategic features for the main Client's product.

Your role:

 Cloud Infrastructure & Reliability (60-70%) 

-> Design, build, and maintain AWS/Azure resources (VPCs, networking, load balancers, firewalls); 

-> Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS) for high availability and scalability;

-> Build and maintain monitoring/alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch);

-> Act as first responder during incidents; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions;

-> Automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning (Terraform, Helm, GitOps);

-> Manage PostgreSQL databases (performance, backups, replication, failover);

-> Optimize infrastructure for performance, resilience, and cost efficiency. 

Security & Compliance (30-40%) 

-> Implement security controls across cloud, Kubernetes, databases, and networks; 

-> Secure Kubernetes (RBAC, network policies, secrets management); 

-> Manage firewalls, VPNs, and IPSec connections securely; 

-> Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat detection, and remediation; 

-> Operate SIEM/log analysis tools (e.g., Wazuh, New Relic, GitHub Security); 

-> Support incident response, postmortems, and threat intelligence application; 

-> Collaborate with Compliance teams to meet ISO27001 / SOC2 standards.

Your skills and experiences:

-> 5-7+ years in Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or SecOps; 

-> Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Docker, container orchestration; 

-> Proven knowledge of AWS and/or Azure networking, VPCs, firewalls, and load balancers;

-> Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, ARM); 

-> Strong background in monitoring, logging, and incident management; 

-> Solid knowledge of cloud and Kubernetes security best practices; 

-> Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management tools; 

-> Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Go); 

-> Understanding of ISO27001 / SOC2 compliance frameworks; 

-> Security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CISM) a plus.
