About the Role

We are looking for an AI Governance Engineer to support one of our enterprise clients in the automotive and transport industry in establishing governance and operational control over how AI technologies are used across the organization.The role focuses on security, risk management, and regulatory compliance, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure responsible and controlled use of AI solutions. We are looking for a hands-on professional who can help implement structure, processes, and controls related to AI usage across the organization.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 AI security & governance controls, including DLP, sensitivity labels, Conditional Access, audit logs, and app governance for AI/Copilot workloads.

• Capability to support AI Inventory & Mapping processes, including AI system discovery, sanctioning/ vetting process and ensuring evidence traceability.

• Technical understanding of agentic AI control models, including agent triggers, boundaries, pre-execution policy checks, and safe-action enforcement.

• Knowledge of network-level enforcement technologies, such as traffic inspection, policy decision points, telemetry integration, and alignment with tools like Zscaler/ Microsoft Defender-based controls.

• Hands-on experience implementing risk-based governance controls, understanding AI risk categories, scoring, treatment actions, and regulatory alignment.

• Ability to support automation workflows for governance (intake, approvals, exceptions, change mgmt) using enterprise systems and standard workflow tools.

• Strong documentation skills to create SOPs, runbooks, technical guidance, governance playbooks, and stakeholder-ready materials.

• Experience coordinating with Legal, Security, Data Governance and business functions to gather inputs, consolidate risks, and maintain alignment with directives. The knowledge of the EU AI ACT or similar legal framework is a plus.

• Proficiency in integrating governance processes with enterprise platforms, especially LeanIX, OneTrust, Defender, or similar tooling ecosystems.

• Structured project-support skills, including follow-up, meeting preparation, tracking actions, maintaining dashboards, and preparing status reports for governance forums.
