About the position

We are looking for a seasoned project manager to strengthen our project management team. Your job as Senior Project Manager will be to directly lead strategic projects with teams in Poland and abroad. You will be accountable for the overall project delivery, client satisfaction and management of expectations while ensuring that the work is on spec, on time and within budget.

Furthermore, as part of this role, you will provide leadership and direction to our project managers and build a highly efficient project management organization. You will work on improving our project management processes and ensuring our best practices are implemented in all our projects. You will regularly inform Senior Management about the status of our project portfolio. You will report to the Director of Corporate Development.

General duties

• Portfolio management

• Manage continuous improvement of best practices, processes, and standards

• Maintain lessons learned and implement change

• Reporting on projects and portfolios

• Support project management tools

• Promote inter-project communication

• Mentor new project managers and provide expert advice

Project specific duties

• Define and track project scope, goals and deliverables

• Create a project timeline, allocate project resources, manage budget

• Coordinating with team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

• Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues

• Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.

• Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.

• Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution

• Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.

• Identifying and developing new opportunities with the client.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in managing increasingly complex and large IT projects.

• Experience in planning, team management,  risk management and change management

• Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects required

• Budget management experience required

• Proficiency in project management software tools

• Project management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM...) required

• ITIL certifications preferred

Competencies 

• Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus

• Critical thinking and problem solving

• Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities

• Contract negotiation

• Conflict resolution experience

• Highly  adaptable in a fast moving environment
