About the position

We are seeking a Full Stack Python Software Development Engineer (SDE) with strong DevOps expertise. In this role, you will be responsible for developing Python applications while driving CI/CD implementation for workloads deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and integrated with other Azure cloud resources.

Key responsibilities

• Build scalable, efficient, and maintainable backend systems and APIs using Python frameworks

• Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of Cloud infrastructure and systems.

• Be a Cloud platform specialist in the “core” infrastructure areas such as server, storage, networking, managed services for user authentication, name resolution, backup, monitoring, logging, etc.

• Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements.

• Provision, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure defined as code.

• Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas.

• Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization.

Competencies

• MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.

• Deep understanding of object-oriented design and programming

• Familiarity with common Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Streamlit, Pytest etc.) 

• Deep understanding of software architecture and development principles

• At least 5 years of experience building and maintaining Cloud infrastructure

• Knowledge of Azure resources like Kubernetes Services, Entra Id, Key Vault, Storage Account, PostgreSQL Flexible Server etc.

• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policies.

• Experience working together with demanding customers to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.

• Experience with Docker, GitHub, and deploying applications on Cloud, mainly to Azure Kubernetes Services.

• Strong technical design, development, analysis and problem solving skills.

• Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.

• Fluency in English is a must.
