Senior Platform & Integration Engineer
About our Team:
Our team supports clients across key “Group Functions,” including Group Risk Management, Legal & Compliance, and Procurement. We act as the primary point of contact for all IT-related topics within these areas, ensuring smooth and effective collaboration between business and technology.
In addition, we are responsible for integrating business applications and managing the required interfaces, acting as a vital link between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Role Purpose:
We are looking for a Senior Platform & Integration Engineer to take ownership of critical platform integrations across actuarial, finance, risk, and compliance functions - an environment where accuracy, reliability, and regulatory alignment are essential. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain integrations that connect actuarial models, financial reporting systems, GRC platforms and procurement tools with both upstream data sources and downstream systems.
A key part of your work will be to automate and strengthen regulatory reporting processes, ensuring they are robust, traceable, and audit-ready. You will also play an important role in supporting legacy system migrations and modernizing the overall integration landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain data integrations that power actuarial, pricing, and risk systems
Help design and implement automated regulatory reporting processes that are accurate, reliable, and compliant
Connect and integrate systems across GRC, finance, and compliance to ensure smooth data flow
Take full ownership of testing and quality assurance for critical, regulated data pipelines
Keep documentation up to date, clear, and audit-ready at all times
Work closely with stakeholders from Actuarial, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance as a trusted technical partner
Contribute to agile delivery by taking part in sprint planning, refining requirements, and assessing feasibility
Your Skills:
5+ years in integration or platform engineering; 2+ years in financial services or insurance
Strong hands-on experience with integration middleware/ETL
Deep understanding of integration patterns: API, batch, event-driven, file-based
Strong documentation and testing discipline for regulated environments
Working knowledge of GDPR, data classification, and access control requirements
Experience in agile, cross-functional delivery environments
Ideally, you also have:
Experience with actuarial platforms (Prophet)
Familiarity with GRC tools (SAI360, GRC Toolbox, Partner Screening)
You will thrive here if you:
Treat compliance and security as design principles, not constraints
Think end-to-end across complex data chains and domain boundaries
Earn trust with actuaries, auditors, and finance controllers through precision and curiosity
Stay current with a fast-moving regulatory and technology landscape
What you can expect from us:
We want to provide you with everything you need to succeed. To do that, we offer a bunch of benefits (depending on the type of contract chosen).
