Junior Business Analyst/Junior Consultant

You'll work on projects within the Helvetia Baloise Group, primarily around the core insurance system (Guidewire). The scope varies — technical specs, process analysis, testing, stakeholder workshops — and that's the point. You'll move between tasks and contexts as the project needs, with the expectation that you take ownership of whatever you pick up and see it through.

• Supporting the Product Owner on technical questions related to core system development

• Developing and refining modules within the core insurance system

• Writing technical specifications and turning them into implementation-ready concepts

• Building test concepts and running test execution

• Modelling and optimizing business and technical processes

• Facilitating workshops and working meetings across IT and business departments

YOUR IDEAL BACKGROUND AND SKILLSET:

• Fluent German, written and spoken

• Some exposure to insurance, banking, or a similarly process-heavy industry — you don't need years of it, but you should know what a business process looks like and have an opinion about it

• You've written something structured before — a spec, a test case, a process description, a presentation that someone actually used to make a decision

• You've worked in or around an agile team and understand how software gets built

• You take ownership of what you pick up — you follow through, ask when you're stuck, and don't wait to be told what to do next
