Cloud Engineer

Your New Role...

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to integrate the WBD Sports Infrastructure team. Half of the team is based in Paris, and the other half will be in Poland. Our infrastructures are mainly based on AWS cloud, but we also look after some servers in a datacenter. In a fast-growing technology environment, our mission is to implement, maintain, document, and support WBD Sports infrastructures.

Your Role Accountabilities…

As a member of the Systems Infrastructure team, your roles are :

• Manage the systems infrastructure and ensure its performance and reliability is in line with customer needs
• Manage the life cycles of the different technology stacks
• Support and advise the development teams in the implementation and monitoring of their applications
• Work with our Security department to remediate the vulnerabilities and secure the infrastructure
• Provide level 3 support to troubleshoot and solve issues
• Produce and update relevant technical documentation

Qualifications & Experience...

• Proficiency of AWS cloud
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS, version 2018 & 2022
• Proven experience with scripting/coding automation tools, such as Terraform
• The candidate must have excellent communications skills to be successful
• Ability to produce technical documentation for operational effectiveness
• Knowledge and/or ability to comply with change management processes
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
• Autonomy, your manager will be located in another country, as well as the majority of your colleagues
• Experience in a media broadcast environment will be appreciated
• Candidates will participate in a 24x7 on call support rotation - position requires after hours support for outages/impairments
• English, both written and oral, is mandatory
