We are now looking for an IBMi Application Support Engineer!
Key responsibilities:
Key responsibilities:
- Being part of a maintenance and development agile team for applications on Volvo's spare parts systems on IBMi (iSeries, AS/400) platform
- Providing End to End application delivery – from specification through development, testing, integration, implementation to support and maintenance
- Development new and modification of existing functionalities in RPG/CL/SQL
- Bug analysis, diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Close cooperation with customers, key users and project teams
Wanted competencies and skills for the position:
- University degree in Computer Science or similar
- Experience in application/system maintenance, support and development in international assignments - preferably support and development experience in inventory/stock and finance systems
- Good knowledge about IBMi platform
- Good skills in RPG and CL programming languages
- Good knowledge of SQL and DB2
- Knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ and XML
- Teamwork and customer oriented approach
- Functional knowledge about VIPSwhMB will be considered as a merit
- Good English and Polish communication skills
