Frontend Engineer with React

We are now looking for a Frontend Engineer who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission.

We are building a cutting-edge software platform that bridges the gap between optimization systems and trading software, enabling smarter, faster decisions in the energy market. You will be part of a cross-country team shaping the architecture from the ground up, with full ownership and room to innovate. 

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React and TypeScript.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, back-end developers and product owners to implement new features.

• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.

• Write clean, maintainable, testable and well-documented code.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

• Shape best practices and drive impactful engineering change.

What you need to succeed:

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React and it’s ecosystem.

• Proficiency in web technologies: TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience at working with RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with modern front-end development tooling, including but not limited to bundling, linting, testing.

• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

• Special interests in design-systems, high level of design/UX taste, knowledge of a11y patterns is an advantage.

• Technical English proficiency, written and spoken.

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Software Development or similar competence level.

• Ability to collaborate across teams, locations and cultures.

• Will to learn business domain.
