D365 FO Technical Consultant

We are looking for a Technical Consultant with a strong system mindset and solid experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (D365 FO). In this role, you’ll be the link between Finance, IT, and business operations - driving efficiency, supporting system improvements, and ensuring high-quality financial data across our platforms.

As a Technical Consultant, you will help shape how we use D365 and connected systems to run a smooth, reliable, and digital-first finance operation. You’ll work hands-on with financial modules, integrations, and processes while playing a key role in our continuous development and automation journey.

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• Design, build, and customise technical solutions in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including extensions, custom logic, and workflows.

• Maintain and improve financial processes at the technical level in D365 FO (e.g., GL, AP/AR, budgeting, reporting), ensuring smooth and efficient system operation.

• Work closely with IT teams and external partners on system configurations, updates, environment deployments, and platform enhancements.

• Develop and support integrations and interfaces to ensure reliable data exchange between D365 FO and other systems using APIs, Azure services, or middleware.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root-cause analysis to identify and fix system bugs or performance bottlenecks.

• Support and test system enhancements, including code reviews and participation in technical design discussions.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments using tools such as Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS).

• Create and update technical documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, and deployment guides.

• Assist with data migrations, performance optimisation, and post-go-live support to ensure high system quality.

• Collaborate with business to translate requirements into technical solutions and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.

What you need to succeed:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (experience in additional D365 modules is a plus).

• Experience working with integrated financial systems and related tools.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to grasp complex system flows and processes.

• Proficiency in Excel and general data analysis tools.

• Experience with financial reporting, accounting processes, and month-end close.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

• Full proficiency in English; Scandinavian language skills are an advantage.

We are looking to hire for Volue office in Gdansk but will be ready to consider other locations in Poland for the right candidate.
