We are currently looking for a IT Operations Engineer ready to join our adventure.
What you will be doing
As an IT Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the daily operations of our production and testing systems. In simple terms, your main goal will be to ensure all systems are up and running smoothly — with the active support of the entire IT team. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing SLA reports to ensure compliance and track system performance against defined metrics.
The responsibilities in this role include but not limited to the following:
Active monitoring of production and test applications/environments
Building or actively cooperating with dev teams in building automated monitoring solutions
Raising incidents in case something is wrong
Coordinating incident resolution with SLA in mind (Jira)
Coordinating outages resolution, escalation process etc.
Executing scheduled processes (not yet automated) or actions (e.g. EOD processing)
Follows standard operating procedures, system development life cycle methodology and policies.
Creating reports and presentations
Working hours: Regular shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM CEST with occasional 12-hour shifts, including night shifts.
Skills you should have
You are: organized person with a good understanding of IT operations processes, with good communication skills (also in English). Desired skills and qualifications:
Good understanding of IT operations in medium to large scale of environments; Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management
Good understanding of Google Sheets and Google Slides
Good analytical thinking skills
Disciplined approach to IT processes always with customer in mind
Familiarity with ELK or other log analysis tools
Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing tools
Familiarity with ITIL or COBIT
Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Polish
Ability to coordinate escalation process in case of major incidents and outages
