We are currently looking for a CI/CO Cloud Engineer ready to join our adventure.

What you will be doing

• Enhance and oversee the CI/CD environment, along with server and network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot issues in the CI/CD pipeline, collaborate with teams to resolve blockers and improve efficiency
• Administer and optimize GCP infrastructure
• Manage and maintain automation tools: GitLab, ArgoCD, SonarQube, ReportPortal, Ansible, etc.
• Design and develop automated CI/CD processes to streamline development, testing, and deployment
• Develop and maintain internal automation tools
• Independently manage tasks end-to-end: analysis, decomposition, planning, implementation, and monitoring
• Collaborate closely with the Cloud Team and software developers
• Support development of resilient applications and infrastructure
• Improve infrastructure security, redundancy, and monitoring
• Contribute to disaster recovery, backup, redundancy, and capacity planning
• Ensure compliance with industry security and compliance standards
• Create and maintain clear documentation and provide necessary training
• Proactively monitor CI/CD systems and address issues
• Promote and coach best engineering practices within the Vodeno team

Skills you should have

Cloud Platforms & Infrastructure

• 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining applications on Google Cloud Platform 
• (GCP)Strong background in managing complex systems and infrastructures
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Containerization & Orchestration

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes / GKE
• Skilled in tools like Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD

Automation & Configuration Management

• Practical experience with tools: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Packer
• Process automation and system optimization proficiency

Software Development Lifecycle & DevOps

• Solid understanding of SDLC, deployment methodologies, and QA processes
• Experience in performance tuning and release management
• Strong command of GitLab for CI/CD, repository management, access control, and orchestration
• Working knowledge of GitOps practices

Programming & Scripting

• Proficient in Python, Bash, and Go

Operating Systems & Administration

• 4+ years of experience in Linux system administration (configuration & troubleshooting)

Database & Data Platforms

• Experience with PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and Firestore

Monitoring & Observability

• Familiarity with tools such as Stackdriver, ELK Stack, Grafana, and Prometheus 

Cybersecurity

• Good knowledge of security best practices and cybersecurity concerns

Project Management & Methodologies

• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies

Soft Skills

• Independent, proactive, and effective at prioritization
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Quick learner with a focus on self-development
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills in English and Polish

Nice to have

• Experience working in financial institutions or regulated industries.
• Experience working with auditors
• Understanding of DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics
• Ability to design and articulate scalable AI architectures using Google Cloud AI/ML services
• Experience integrating and developing tools with AI models (Gemini, Vertex AI, ChatGPT)
• Experience in creating Looker Studio reports
• Readiness for on-call support
