ASP.NET Developer with German
For our client, we are looking for an ASP. NET Developer with good knowledge of German (minimum B2). Your main focus will be on the frontend built in a server-side generation model using ASP. NET . The project is data-oriented – the frontend primarily serves to present and process information produced in other parts of the system (lists, summaries, dashboards).
👉 Important: the frontend in this project is not built with frameworks like Angular or React.js. The key technologies are ASP. NET (WebForms in MVC), DevExpress JS, and SQL/Entity Framework.
The project is currently in a migration phase – from WinForms components to modern DevExpress JS components, and from existing solutions to a newer architecture based on .NET Framework (WebForms in MVC) with additional WebAPI (.NET 8). The goal is to improve UI/UX and modernize the technology stack.
At the beginning, your work will be migration-oriented – tasks will be repetitive, but they require an understanding of the direction of changes and a self-driven approach.
Your Responsibilities
Contribute to the further development of the web application – from concept to implementation
Migrate frontend components to new solutions (DevExpress JS)
Develop and maintain applications based on ASP. NET (WebForms in MVC) and WebAPI (.NET 8)
Implement data-driven views such as portfolio lists, user lists, orders, and transactions
Support the development of dashboard-type views (topic-based summaries)
Implement customer requirements and integrate new functionalities
Work with the data layer and reporting (MSSQL, Entity Framework, SQL scripts)
Support the project team in ongoing technical tasks
Requirements
Strong knowledge of .NET and C#
Experience with ASP. NET (server-side generation)
Practical knowledge of Entity Framework
Good knowledge of SQL (MSSQL, versioning SQL scripts)
Experience with DevExpress and jQuery is a strong plus
Experience in migrating legacy applications is an advantage
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) is a plus
Knowledge of the financial services sector (banks, portfolio management) is an advantage
German – minimum B2 level
