As an Android Engineer, you will:

• Take full responsibility for the development of the vouch Android app – a lightweight product focused on social proof and identity.

• Implement and refine features like video capture, upload, playback, and seamless user flows.

• Work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality, performant user experiences.

• Ensure compatibility and optimization across Android devices and OS versions.

• Continuously monitor app performance and stability, fixing bugs and shipping regular updates.

• Actively shape the direction of the mobile product based on user feedback and business goals.

• Have opportunities to contribute to other mobile and infrastructure tools within the vlayer ecosystem.

You may be a good fit if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in Android development using Kotlin.

• Experience in building apps with strong knowledge of Android SDK, lifecycle, architecture components, and asynchronous programming.

• A proactive mindset and ability to independently lead mobile development.

• Attention to detail and UX-driven thinking.

• Fluent written and spoken English for clear communication in a remote, async-first environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Android Instant Apps (Google Play Instant) and background processes.

• Previous work with Web3, digital identity, or social/creator-focused products.

• Rust experience or interest in learning Rust.
