You’ll own identity and endpoint automation for a large North American bank, working with an enterprise-scale Windows environment. You’ll be part of the core IT infrastructure team, managing hundreds of Windows workstations and virtual desktops.

The Role at a Glance

Why Join Us?

  • Impact at scale: Manage identity, devices, and policy for a bank-scale Windows ecosystem

  • Automation-first culture: Ship scripts and policies that remove toil (onboarding/offboarding, group membership, reporting).

  • Strong peers: Collaborate with engineers in Poland and North America.

  • Competitive compensation and long term stability that only a bank can offer.

A successful candidate will be an experienced Windows administrator who prioritizes automation, can code their own scripts, and has experience working in an enterprise IT department. English proficiency is a must.

This is a fully remote Windows administration role for a person in Poland. You will be working directly with the bank through a Polish company that will provide the support and administrative assistance to make you successful in the role.

Only open to residents of Poland. Polish citizens, as well as legal residents with permission to work in Poland are welcome.

What we offer

  • Work that matters in the financial domain: Work on a trading system at an established financial institution, processing millions of transactions daily.

  • Professional growth: Collaborate with smart, highly capable developers in a supportive and challenging environment.

  • Direct collaboration: You will work directly with the bank’s team in North America and in Poland.

  • Fully remote work: Fully remote position based in Poland.

  • Competitive Compensation: Above-average pay and ample time-off options.

Responsibilities

  • Manage user accounts, structure, and security policies in Active Directory.

  • Provision and de-provision user accounts.

  • Deploy, patch, and update Windows workstations at scale.

  • Use PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks: user provisioning, reporting, bulk changes.

Requirements

Must have

  • Proficiency in PowerShell, including writing code in modules, with proper logging and error handling, for safe runs on bulk operations of 100+ users.

  • Familiarity and experience with remote Windows administration in an enterprise environment.

  • An automation-first mindset.

  • Good knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID

  • General knowledge about Group Policy design and configuration.

  • A solid understanding of networking and operating systems.

  • A good understanding of federated ID management.

  • Ability to troubleshoot local problems in a Windows environment as well as AD-related issues like login failures and permission issues.

  • Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to follow and understand technical conversations.

  • Know when and how to ask questions that speed up learning.

  • Ability to work during US Eastern business hours.

Nice to have

  • Past software development experience.

  • Microsoft Certifications (MCSE) or equivalent certifications.
