System engineer MySQL/databases

This is what you can expect as a System engineer MySQL with us: 

• New and further development and operation of our private cloud/development platform. 

• You are responsible for the technical development and implementation of cloud-native specific concepts and solutions, in particular for our relational databases 

• The practical testing of new technologies and products as part of PoC (proof of concept) projects. 

• You support our internal customers (development teams) by providing technical advice on modern database operations concepts

• You ensure the automation, integration, testing, delivery and deployment of our databases. 

• You help shape the database environment in our company 

This is what you bring to the table:

•  For this position, we are looking for someone with several years of relevant professional experience (at least 5 years) as a Systems/DevOps Engineer in a cloud-native computing environment. 

• You have solid expertise in working with relational databases, especially MySQL 

• You are confident in dealing with the DevOps toolchain (e.g. Gitlab, CI/CD), as well as you already got in touch with container technologies. 

• Automation is part of your DNA. Ansible is an integral part of your toolbox. 

• You have experience with performance monitoring and performance tuning of MySQL databases 

• You are curious and enjoy acquiring knowledge and are interested in current technologies in the cloud-native environment.

• You are an absolute team player. 

• You communicate confidently in English or German. 

We work preferably in a hybrid model, from our office at Concordia Design in Poznan, every Wednesday and Thursday.
