Our product portfolio includes industry leading solutions that facilitate simple, reliable OTT experiences for our customers, partners, and end users. With over 15 years of experience delivering innovative OTT solutions, Vewd is looking to bring on a Junior Full-Stack Developer to the Deliveries Department in Warsaw.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, integrate and maintain state-of-the art, forward looking, web-based TV user experiences to be enjoyed by the modern TV and VOD consumer in living rooms across all continents
- Stay current and on the latest web technologies
- Support our clients with issues related to user interface and it’s integration on set-top-boxes and TVs
- Understand the underlying layer dependencies and review the implementation of interfaces for the web-based user interface
- Work on performance optimization of the user interface on a particular platform: understand and identify the performance bottlenecks and work on eliminating them
- Work with our clients to understand their UX and look-and-feel requirements and work on UI skinning customizations for the particular implementation.
What you bring:
- Experience with HTML and SCSS
- Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) in combination with any of the popular frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
- Base of C++
- Good working knowledge of Linux
- Experience within a complex user interface project
- Knowledge of modern web technologies and trends (service workers, push API)
- Experience with performance optimization (JavaScript, animations, loading time, etc.)
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
- Detail-oriented and willingness to learning new things
Nice to have:
- Knowledge about browser guts (Chrome, Webkit or Firefox) and embedded platforms stack
- Experience with Node.js and Webpack
- Basic knowledge about Docker and Kubernetes
