Test Automation Expert – Java/Python (with German)

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Expert to join an international project and take on a key role in the design, implementation, and automation of tests for complex financial systems. In this position, you will be responsible for planning and executing both functional and non-functional tests, developing testing frameworks, and integrating modern solutions in the field of software testing. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design and execution of functional and non-functional tests 

• Test case creation and test data preparation 

• Test documentation, defect analysis, and retesting support 

• Test reporting and support for test campaigns 

• Development of test frameworks and test automation 

• Design of test processes using AI and digital twins 

• Maintenance of testing tools and automation of reporting 

• Configuration of test environments 

• Test case reviews and effort estimation 

• Last level support 

Requirements: 

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software testing, including test automation, test framework development, and working in complex IT projects

• Minimum 1 year of experience in large-scale IT projects (budget > €1.5M, team >10 people) 

• Proficiency in German and English (min. B2 level) 

• Experience working in agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe) 

• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence 

• Familiarity with testing tools (Xray, Eggplant, test data management) 

• Experience with test automation and automation frameworks 

• ISTQB certification or equivalent (e.g., Agile Tester, Test Automation Engineer) 

• Programming skills (Java, Python) 

• Experience working with databases and APIs 

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and GitLab 

Nice to have: 

• Strong knowledge of MS Office 

• Familiarity with ISO20022 standards, XML 

• Experience in banking and payment system testing 

• Knowledge of mocks and AI in testing
