Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Architect (GoAnywhere MFT) to lead the architecture and upgrade strategy of a GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer platform in a large, global, regulated enterprise environment. The role includes technical governance, documentation (HLD/LLD), and support through implementation, testing, cutover, and handover to operations.
Key Responsibilities
Define and lead the end-to-end GoAnywhere MFT upgrade approach (side-by-side vs in-place).
Perform pre-upgrade readiness assessment and identify risks (versions, DB, logs, keystores, Java, permissions, hardening).
Design secure MFT architecture (SFTP/FTPS/HTTPS, DMZ routing, TLS/certificates, RBAC, auditing).
Provide technical leadership during build, upgrade, troubleshooting, and rollout.
Define validation/testing approach, cutover and rollback plans.
Lead post-upgrade health check and security configuration review.
Produce architecture documentation (HLD/LLD, diagrams, runbooks) and collaborate with key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience as a Technical Architect / GoAnywhere SME / MFT Architect in enterprise environments.
Hands-on knowledge of GoAnywhere MFT upgrades and architecture.
Solid understanding of secure file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTPS/HTTPS) and security hardening (TLS, certificates, RBAC, auditing).
Experience producing technical design documentation (HLD/LLD).
Strong communication skills and ability to work across infrastructure/security/operations teams.
Nice to Have
AS2 experience.
SIEM/logging integration (e.g., Splunk/ELK).
Background in regulated industries.
