System Administrator / DevOps Engineer

Location: Gdańsk, Gdynia or Warsaw (hybrid model)

Job Description:We are looking for an experienced System Administrator / DevOps Engineer to join our integration and deployment team in the banking sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for automating and executing deployment processes, administering Oracle WebLogic Server environments, and supporting teams in diagnosing and resolving production issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive application packages from development teams and prepare them for deployment

• Automate deployment processes (CI/CD) using tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or Ninjago

• Administer Oracle WebLogic Server (WLS) and middleware (SOA, OSB) across Linux/Windows environments

• Monitor systems using tools like Splunk and AppDynamics

• Perform deployments across test, pre-production, and production environments

• Manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and private cloud (ESP)

• Identify and resolve issues within WLS and Linux environments

• Collaborate with IT teams and support testing and configuration reviews

Requirements:

• Proven experience in administering Oracle WebLogic Server 12c, SOA, and OSB (advanced level)

• Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, Ninjago) and deployment automation

• Practical experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices

• Familiarity with messaging systems (IBM MQ, Apache Kafka)

• Experience with application and infrastructure monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics)

• Hands-on experience with version control and artifact repositories (Git, BitBucket, Nexus, Artifactory)

• Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset
