AWS Engineer

📍 Warsaw or Gdansk (2–3 days per week onsite)

About the ProjectOur client is launching an ambitious initiative to deliver multiple generative and predictive AI models, designed to enhance the operations of hundreds of professionals in the Group Financial Crime Prevention unit. Though the organization is well-established, this AI program has a startup-like feel — fast-moving, experimental, and packed with innovation. We’re seeking DevOps Engineers who are ready to build, deploy, and scale AI-based solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the development and deployment of Generative AI applications

• Build data processing workflows and orchestrate cloud infrastructure

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code practices

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Orchestration tools: Step Functions, EventBridge, Airflow (MWAA), Lambda

• Data processing: AWS Glue, EMR, EKS

• Storage: Amazon S3

• Querying and analysis: AWS Athena

• Big Data ETL frameworks: PySpark with Python and/or Spark with Scala (nice to have)

• Strong knowledge of Python/Pandas for data transformation

• Familiarity with the Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Impala, Sqoop, HDFS, Oozie)

• CI/CD: Jenkins

• IaC: Terraform

• MLflow

• AWS Bedrock

• AWS SageMaker

• AWS EC2, Fargate

• HashiCorp tools

• AWS application development experience

• Additional Hadoop expertise
