Front-end developer (React)

About the Role:

We’re hiring software developers to join a project for a US-based industry leader in enterprise security solutions. You’ll help build a modern, cloud-connected platform that integrates video surveillance, access control, and analytics into one powerful system.

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

• Implement real-time video and audio communication features using WebRTC.

• Write clean, semantic, and accessible HTML and CSS (including preprocessors like SASS/SCSS) to create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Work in Linux environments for development, deployment, and debugging (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS).

• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and WebSocket-based services.

• Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to best practices.

• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.

• Stay updated on emerging web development trends and technologies to enhance application functionality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development with React.

• Experience with WebRTC, preferably implementing real-time video and audio communication.

• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

• Experience working in Linux environments, including familiarity with command-line tools, shell scripting, and server setup.

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router).

• Experience with version control systems like Git.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and integrating with backend services.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Communicative English in speech and writing.

  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with TypeScript for type-safe JavaScript development.

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or other modern CSS frameworks.

• Knowledge of Node.js or other backend technologies for full-stack development.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker in Linux environments.

• Understanding of WebRTC signaling servers (e.g., using Socket.IO or custom implementations).

• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and end-to-end testing tools.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
