Tech Lead (Python/AWS + React)

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to drive the technical direction of cloud-native services enabling secure, just-in-time access to multi-cloud environments. You will lead a cross-functional R&D team responsible for building, scaling, and productizing distributed microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and technical design of distributed microservices (Python / AWS).

• Drive architectural decisions around event-driven systems, scalability, reliability, and security.

• Lead and mentor an R&D team, setting high engineering standards.

• Stay hands-on: contribute to backend development and support frontend work when needed (React).

• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred) and promote automation.

• Work closely with other Tech Leads and Architects to ensure technical alignment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.

• 3+ years in a Tech Lead / Engineering Team Lead role.

• Strong production experience with Python and AWS.

• Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, and relational databases (SQL).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• AWS serverless (Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions).

• React experience.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Observability tools (e.g. Datadog).

• Experience in enterprise-scale cloud or SaaS environmens.
