Senior QA Engineer (AWS / Cloud)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests for cloud-native security services

• Maintain and extend existing automated test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines

• Test REST APIs, backend services, and platform components

• Validate cloud-based architectures running on AWS

• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and release readiness

• Analyze logs, metrics, and monitoring data to identify issues

• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams

• You will be the primary QA engineer in the team responsible for shaping testing strategy and quality practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in QA roles, with ownership of quality for complex products.

• Proven experience with SaaS products in AWS, including cloud-native and distributed systems.

• Strong understanding of Agile SDLC and hands-on work within CI/CD-based delivery.

• Deep experience in test design and execution for complex systems, including both manual and automated testing.

• Ability to define, build, and scale QA practices, standards, and quality gates within the team.

• Familiarity with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.

• Strong technical perspective, with the ability to understand system architecture, integrations, and business flows end-to-end.

• Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to collaborate with multiple integrations and external stakeholders.

• Experience building automated testing gates as part of CI/CD pipelines - an advantage

• Background in software development or security testing - an advantage

• Knowledge of security principles such as access control, secrets management, and identity testing - an advantage

• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog is a plus) - an advantage

• Experience with performance, scale, and reliability testing - an advantage

• English proficiency at B2 level and Polish proficiency at C1 level.
