QA Practice Area Manager

Please note: We require proficiency in Polish at C1 level (spoken and written), the candidate must be based in Poland as we do not offer relocation, and during the initial onboarding months required visits to the company’s headquarters in Łódź will apply.

What you’ll do 

Team & Practice Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA experts, 

• Manage resources effectively and ensure optimal team utilization, 

• Build a collaborative, motivating environment that drives performance, 

• Develop team skills and expand QA service capabilities. 

Business Development & Presales 

• Support the sales process by identifying client needs and translating them into long-term QA solutions, 

• Design and present tailored technical proposals aligned with business goals, 

• Act as a trusted QA advisor, recommending testing strategies, tools, and best practices, 

• Take part in Deal Review and assess new business opportunities, 

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams. 

Service & Portfolio Development 

• Continuously shape and expand the QA services portfolio to meet market demands, 

• Represent the company at conferences, industry events, and through thought leadership, 

• Build and maintain partnerships with QA tool vendors and licensing partners, 

• Collect and analyze feedback from sales and technical teams to improve presales materials and processes. 

Ideal Candidate 

• Minimum 5 years of QA technical background (software testing and test automation)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial position including people management

• Experience or a demonstrable passion for applying AI/ML capabilities to enhance testing processes (e.g., for visual testing, self-healing scripts, or test data generation)

• Proven experience in software testing and test automation, ideally in consulting or presales, 

• Strong knowledge of SDLC, testing methodologies, and QA tools, 

• Experience in team leadership or project management, 

• Strategic mindset – able to translate technical solutions into business value, 

• Excellent presentation and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders, 

• Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a dynamic international environment, 

• Fluent in English and Polish (spoken and written).
