Data Engineering Practitioner / Backend and Data Engineer

Your responsibilities:

• Building high-performance, asynchronous RESTful APIs using FastAPI and MongoDB Atlas. Proficient in the modern Python ecosystem, focusing on type safety, cloud integration, and secure authentication flows.

We are looking for you, if you have:

• Modern API Development: Expert in developing async web services using FastAPI and Uvicorn, utilizing Pydantic for robust data validation

• NoSQL Database Engineering: Advanced proficiency in MongoDB interactions. Skilled in both synchronous (pymongo) and asynchronous operations (motor), with specific expertise in Object-Document Mapping (ODM) using Beanie.

• NoSQL Data Modeling: Expert in designing scalable MongoDB schemas that balance read/write performance.

• Implementing strategic data structuring (Embedding vs. Referencing) to optimize query performance and data integrity.

• Identify slow queries, optimizing indexes for Beanie ODM models, and ensuring efficient read/write patterns.

• Security & Authentication: Implementation of secure authorization standards including OAuth2 and JWT flows

• MongoDB Atlas: Proficiency in configuring and managing production-ready MongoDB Atlas clusters on AWS

• Cloud & Integration: Experience integrating AWS services: S3, Lambda, Glue, etc. via Boto3. 

• Experience with gSheet API
