Your Role
We’re looking for you – our organized mind with a technical touch – to keep our digital campaigns running smoothly.
As a Senior Ad Operations Manager, you make sure campaigns run flawlessly, are set up cleanly and deliver strong performance. You’re the connection point between technology, product, account management, our publishers, and advertisers – and you stay on top of things when projects get complex.
Your day-to-day work combines 3rd-level support and campaign management: you implement setups, analyze issues, find pragmatic solutions and bring advertising experience that helps drive tracking, setup and optimization forward.
With your AdTech know-how and eye for detail, you make sure processes run smoothly, campaigns deliver efficiently and our partners can rely on excellent service.
In Practice, That Means:
● You handle forecasting, campaign booking and monitoring of campaign delivery
● You are solution-oriented and take initiative to propose optimizations when campaigns don’t run as planned.
● You handle complex technical campaign cases escalated from 1st or 2nd level support and find pragmatic solutions.
● You review and optimize setups in Google Ad Manager/Microsoft Monetize and spot errors quickly.
● You use browser developer tools with ease and jump into the source code when needed – mainly HTML and CSS.
● You support our clients through the JIRA ticket system – combining technical expertise with a real understanding of their needs.
● You work closely with product management, QA and engineering to ensure sustainable solutions for high impact ad formats.
● You document processes, solutions and best practices so knowledge is shared and accessible within the team.
● You keep an eye on new tools, technologies and AdTech trends to continuously improve our systems and workflows.When things get technically or organizationally challenging, you bring the right people together, structure the process and see projects through to the finish line.
What You Bring
You have several years of experience in technical support or ad operations within the digital AdTech environment – you work in a structured, solution-oriented and independent way, with a strong focus on quality and technical depth.
● Education: Degree in media design, computer science, IT or a comparable field.
● Languages: German at native level and English fluently spoken and written (min. B2).
● Technical Know-How:
o Web technologies: Strong skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript plus a deep understanding of website integrations.
o AdTech and header-bidding systems: Solid knowledge of Prebid, Amazon APS and Open Bidding – including implementation and troubleshooting.
o Campaign and deal management: Experience in setting up, optimizing and managing campaigns, as well as deal setups in Google Ad Manager, Microsoft/Xandr and Equativ.
o Tools & platforms: SSP/DSP and similar ad-serving or campaign management systems.
With your technical eye for detail and strategic mindset, you help shape and improve our systems and processes – always aiming to make things simpler, more stable and better.You combine pragmatism and expertise to drive sustainable progress – both technically and organizationally.

Our Hiring Process
We believe both sides should get a clear picture of each other. Our process has four steps:
Video call (~30 min): A short intro with HR – motivation, expectations and general framework.
Video call (50–60 min): A technical and mindset conversation with your future manager – focused on how you work and communicate.
Case Study (video call 120–150 min) & Personality Test (online 30–45 min): On-site or remote (for international candidates) – a realistic Ad Ops scenario: you analyze a campaign with weak performance, identify technical issues, spot optimization potential and advise on specific actions to reach its goals.
Final interview: Discuss results and final contract details.
