Senior Java Developer

Our Client is a global investment bank with a strong presence across Europe, the United States, and Latin America, serving some of the most demanding corporate and institutional clients.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will join an international team, taking responsibility for backend development, providing technical support to the team, and co-creating the system architecture and strategy within the corporate finance domain.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend microservices in Java

• Participating in integrations between operational systems and the General Ledger

• Collaborating with teams based in Poland and across Europe in an international environment

• Mentoring and providing technical support to less experienced team members

• Implementing and enforcing best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD

• Working closely with technical leaders to define the solution architecture

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Java development (Spring / Spring Boot, microservices)

• Experience working with MongoDB and backend system integrations

• Solid understanding of cloud architecture (private or hybrid cloud)

• Ability to work in Agile/DevOps methodologies

• Very good command of English (C1/C2)

• Knowledge of investment banking products or accounting systems is a plus
