Senior Developer Relations Manager

Scaling globally, we are seeking a talented Developer Relations Leader to join our remote team of 270+ from around the world.

Your New Role: 

We are looking for a Developer Relations Manager to lead and scale a multi-brand DevRel program across TinyMCE, CKEditor, ButterCMS, and Uploadcare. This is a rare opportunity to build and grow a Developer Relations function from the ground up across a portfolio of developer-facing products trusted by millions worldwide.

You will lead the strategic vision, build a team of developer advocates, and shape how each brand engages with developer communities. You’ll work cross-functionally to position our products as must-haves for developers building modern content experiences, while cultivating thriving ecosystems around each brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proven experience in developer advocacy or developer relations leadership, especially across multiple products or business units.
• Strong background as a full-stack developer, with hands-on experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc).
• Exceptional technical writing, presentation, and video creation skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to educate and inspire technical audiences.
• Deep empathy for developers, with a passion for helping others learn, build, and succeed.
• Experience creating and scaling content strategies and community programs, including SEO-driven content, tutorials, and learning paths.
• Strong understanding of open source ecosystems and community dynamics.
• Experience building and scaling a DevRel function, including hiring and team development.
• Analytical mindset and familiarity with analytics tools, able to measure impact and refine strategies based on data.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions.
• Bonus: experience with CMS platforms, developer tools, SaaS infrastructure, or rich text editing

To be successful in this role you need the following:

• Develop and execute a unified DevRel strategy across all four brands, with tailored messaging and tactics for each developer community.
• Hire and manage a team of Developer Advocates and mentor content creators to scale developer outreach, content, and support.
• Oversee the creation of high-quality technical content (blogs, guides, webinars, demos, videos) that educates and inspires developers to build with TinyMCE, CKEditor, ButterCMS, and Uploadcare.
• Lead the developer community engagement efforts, including organizing and speaking at meetups, conferences, and webinars.
• Build strategic partnerships with technical audiences, including open source contributors, OSS maintainers, and technology communities.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to drive awareness, adoption, and feedback loops from developers.
• Establish and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of content, outreach, and community engagement across all brands.
• Act as a voice of the developer internally to help guide product development and improve the developer experience.
• Stay current on front-end, CMS, and full stack trends to keep our content and messaging relevant.
