We’re The Widlarz Group, a software house specializing in React Native, actively contributing to the Open Source community. You might already know our work - we’re the team behind popular Open Source libraries like react-native-video.

Our teams - especially the Special Task Force - specialize in performance audits, technical debt assessments, recovery plans, and R&D in the area of native libraries.

For this role, we’re supporting one of our long-term clients in finding an experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join their tech team.

You’ll be hired directly by our client, but we’ll guide you through the recruitment process and help you get up to speed.

✅ Minimum qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong proactiveness and patience to search for resources, documentation, and conduct testing.

• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals (e.g., filesystems, system calls) and administration or networking (e.g., routing, ESDN).

• Knowledge and experience in Docker, Node.js, Typescript and React.js.

• Knowledge and experience in SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB).

• Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.

• Strong attention to details.

• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and frameworks including but not limited to: Ruby on Rails, React, Typescript, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Go.

• Ability to learn new technologies, programming languages, and frameworks.

• Openness to working in a distributed, international team.

• Experience working with clients in the US or across significantly different time zones.

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

🧩 Preferred qualifications (but not required)

• Over 4 years of professional work experience in skills in the Minimum qualifications.

• Experience in web development.

• Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting systems.

• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems.

• Experience designing and developing software oriented towards systems or network automation.

• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of drive.

You’ll join our client’s team under a B2B contract with a competitive rate in the range of 20,000–28,000 PLN net/month, depending on your experience and skills.
