We seek a talented Product Manager to lead the development and management of the Colleague Relationship Service (CRS) within the colleague domain. CRS is a foundational service that enhances security across Tesco by ensuring colleagues have the appropriate level of access to data and actions. It consolidates and standardises colleague data, making it available via modern REST APIs to support secure, real-time access decisions across Tesco applications.
You will be responsible for
Own the product strategy and execution for CRS, ensuring alignment with Tesco’s broader access management and security goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders across domains to understand access control needs and translate them into scalable, secure API solutions.
Build deep domain knowledge of colleague data and access management and assess new opportunities through research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Lead sprint and release planning with engineering teams to deliver maximum business value efficiently.
Drive discovery and validation of minimum viable products (MVPs) for new features, ensuring alignment with user needs and compliance requirements.
Break down complex initiatives into epics and stories, enabling incremental value delivery.
Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity on short-term priorities and long-term vision.
Be accountable for CRS’s performance, adoption, and reliability, and work to expand its usage across Tesco applications.
Support and mentor other Product Managers within the Colleague Transformation team.
Contribute to hiring and developing a strong product management community within Tesco.
Adapt to evolving business needs and take ownership of other products within the colleague domain as required.
Qualifications
You will need
Managing API-driven platforms in a complex enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and access control models.
Articulating a product strategy in terms of user and business value.
Applying agile methodologies to deliver high-quality digital products.
Communicating complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
Solving unstructured problems through hypothesis-driven development and data analysis.
Product management best practices and methodologies.
Collaborating with engineering teams to estimate and deliver technical solutions.
Balancing technical debt and feature delivery through objective prioritisation.
Making sound decisions around business priorities and resource allocation.
