As a Software Business Analyst, you will be responsible for: identifying, mapping, understanding, documenting requirements, and creating software functionality description of specified products and solutions. This role requires understanding of embedded electronics systems and Agile software development processes. Crucial for this role is analytical mind and ability to collaborate with teams with different technical backgrounds and goals.
Job Description
- Close cooperation and liaison across Software and Hardware products teams within the TechnipFMC C&A organization
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the product requirements
- Develop a clear understanding of capabilities demanded from the product
- Participate in review sessions to identify any eventual gaps and border cases
- Ensure implemented solutions meet needs and stated requirements
- Translate higher level requirements into refined descriptions to be used by software development and quality assurance teams
- Creating and maintaining documentation describing product functionality based on high level requirements
- Participating in requirement refinement sessions with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience working with requirements management tools (Polarion, Jira, or similar) is a must
- Experience working with software modelling tools (Enterprise Architect or similar) is a must
- Technical University degree or equivalent qualification through experience. Preferred areas: Embedded Electronics, Software Development, Computer Science, Engineering or Automation
- English language knowledge min. B2/C1 level
- Experience using main business analysis techniques (requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, management)
- Knowledge of UML is desired
- Basic knowledge of electronics; ability to read and understand hardware block diagrams
- Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria for software development and quality assurance teams
- Experience working in embedded software development
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving team player, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
