SAP HCM Product Owner
We are supporting a global automotive manufacturing company in their search for an experienced SAP HCM Product Owner who will play a key role in developing and optimizing HR technology solutions in an international environment.
Currently, we are hiring for two positions within the HR IT landscape. Both roles operate in a similar scope and organizational setup, working closely with business stakeholders and development teams in an Agile environment.The difference between the positions lies in the functional area of SAP HCM:
one role focuses on Payroll and Time Management (including German Payroll – PY-DE)
the second role focuses on HCM Core solutions, including Personnel Administration (PA/OM) and SuccessFactors Employee Central
Your role
Own and manage the product roadmap for SAP HCM solutions
Work closely with development teams and business stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing operational needs and project initiatives
Support the implementation and development of HR IT solutions across the organization
Act as a subject-matter expert within the SAP HCM landscape
Drive process improvements and system optimization initiatives
Collaborate with international stakeholders and support HR digitalization projects
Ensure smooth operation and continuous enhancement of HCM platforms
Requirements
Proven experience as an SAP Consultant, Product Owner, or Product Manager within HR IT
Strong background in SAP HCM environments
Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaboration with development teams
Ability to translate business needs into product and system requirements
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluent English
Additional experience in one of the following areas:
Payroll & Time Management
Strong experience with SAP HCM Payroll and Time Management
Knowledge of German Payroll (PY-DE) is highly valued
Experience with SAP HCM – SuccessFactors integrations is a plus
HCM Core
Experience with SAP HCM (PA/OM) and SuccessFactors Employee Central
Experience with HR digitalization or transformation projects
Understanding of enterprise integrations within ERP environments
German language skills are considered an advantage.
