Senior Data Engineer (AWS)

We are looking for a Senior AWS Data Engineers to support transformation from legacy systems to modern, scalable, cloud data platforms. You will play a key role in the design and development of end-to-end ETL pipelines and data lake architectures in AWS.

Join us if you have:

• 6+ years working experience with data (as Data Engineer and/or similar)

• Extensive experience with AWS Services: S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, ECS, EKS, EMR, MWAA, RDS

• Experience with Databricks, including architecture of Spark applications (batch and streaming)

• Experience designing and implementing scalable, secure and cost-effective data architectures in AWS

• Solid programming skills in Python and preferably also Scala (not mandatory) with a focus on best practices (testing, modularity, CI/CD, clean code)

• Familiarity with PySpark

• Familiarity with Big Data Performance optimization concepts: partitioning, bucketing, clustering, etc.

• Ability to independently drive architecture discussion and propose technical solutions

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD Workflows (Github Actions)
