Backend Developer - Webcruiter

Talentech is a rapidly growing HR-tech company with around 200 employees. One of our offices is located in Gdańsk, where 30 talented colleagues work together on innovative technology solutions. 

Webcruiter, one of the Norway’s most popular SaaS recruitment systems, is developed and operated by a team of highly skilled engineers. In 2023 there were 144.000 people recruited and hired with Webcruiter. We are now looking for an experienced back-end developer that will help us maintain and modernize our back-end stack.

About the role

This role is a unique opportunity for an experienced back-end developer to make a real difference to the greatest and most impactful HR-product in Norway. You will work with a very talented group of developers, UX and product specialists to evolve our Webcruiter platform. You will also co-operate with other amazing teams in the Talentech family.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Work in an agile cross-functional product development team.

·         Design and develop new components of the system with a focus on scalability, ensuring adherence to modern architectural best practices and preparing for future growth.

·         Work closely with product, UX specialists and designers to ensure we deliver an excellent service for our customers.

·         Demonstrate flexibility and a problem-solving mindset by working with and maintaining older legacy code, ensuring continuity and improvement of existing systems.

Qualifications:

To thrive and be successful in your role, you need to be skilled in ASP.NET and C#. We also believe you have experience in these areas:

·         Building and working with RESTful services and API’s.

·         Writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to deliver robust, clean code.

·         Cloud services, like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.

·         Nice to have: front-end frameworks like React, Vue, Aurelia.

·         Nice to have: experience with integration tools, like Prismatic
