As an AI Engineer at Synply, you will play a pivotal role in developing advanced AI models and intelligent agents that automate, optimize, and secure financial workflows. Your expertise in prompt engineering will drive the effectiveness of AI-powered interactions, ensuring our solutions deliver real-time, context-aware insights for our clients and users. You’ll work alongside fintech visionaries and technical experts to deliver AI-driven products that set new industry standards. 

Responsibilities  

• Build and maintain AI agents that autonomously manage and optimize complex workflows, such as document management, state management, processing, automated compliance & risk monitoring, and client onboarding. 

• Apply advanced prompt engineering techniques to fine-tune AI agent responses for financial contexts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity. 

• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate fintech requirements into robust AI-driven solutions. 

• Develop scalable, secure AI pipelines and infrastructure for model training, deployment, and monitoring in a regulated environment. 

• Continuously monitor and iterate on AI agent performance and prompt strategies to maximize business impact and user satisfaction. 

• Ensure all AI solutions meet financial industry standards for security, privacy, and ethical compliance. 

• Conduct experiments, analyze model results, and iterate quickly based on feedback. 

• Stay ahead of fintech and AI trends, integrating the latest advancements into our product suite.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s or PhD degree preferred). 

• +4 years  of hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks building and deploying AI models using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Java’s Spring AI or LangChain4j or equivalent. 

• Expertise in designing, deploying and running AI agents that automate and optimize business workflows. 

• Advanced skills in prompt engineering for large language models (LLMs) and conversational AI, especially in regulated industries. 

• Experience with AI technologies such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for enhancing model accuracy with external knowledge, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for integrating AI systems with diverse tools and data sources. 

• Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML libraries and tools. 

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP a plus) and container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). 

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, NLP, reinforcement learning, and AI ethics. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile startup environment. 

• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
