Senior JavaScript Developer for a navigation platform

The product we are working on is the biggest community-based navigation app, complex web-services and other solutions related to it. The web and mobile apps handle information at massive scale and extend well beyond the search giving people and companies a lot of new useful options. Here you’ll be a part of a skilled international team, working on an app with >100 mln users!

Requirements:

• Location in Warsaw
• 7+ years experience as a Front-End/Full-Stack developer
• Strong in JavaScript and toolkits (Gulp/Webpack/Karma/Jasmine, etc.);
• Good grasp of at least one frontend framework (preferably React, or Angular/Vue.js);
• Experience with one of BE technologies (Node.JS/Ruby/Python/Java/.Net)
• Experience with distributed version control systems (Git/Mercurial/Fossil, etc.);
• Experience with implementing pixel-perfect designs over HTML/CSS;
• Experience in working with a Linux-based server environment, solid Linux/Unix skills;
• Experience of work in a distributed team;
• Upper-intermediate level of English

Nice to have:

• Experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing responsive web apps;
• Cloud technologies;
• Developing high load / high traffic user-facing software;
• Writing unit tests;
• TypeScript and other frameworks (Angular/Backbone/Vue);
• Mobile-specific sites, and mobile-web/native app integrations;
• Setup and continuous improvement of development and multi-stage production environment;
• Open source contributions
