Senior Full Stack Engineer

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with React and JavaScript for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is a leading on-site work marketplace seeking creative and skilled developers to join the global engineering team. The mission is to design and develop technology that improves users' lives while providing an exceptionally high level of service. The cutting-edge technology SaaS solution hosted on AWS that enables today's and tomorrow’s Gig economy.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in full-stack development.

• 4+ years of experience with Node.js and/or Python, React.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6, React, and React Native.

• Understanding of writing clean, standards-compliant HTML and CSS.

• Strong focus and experience in Test Driven Development.

• Familiarity with the Git version control system.

• Knowledge of Linux or other Unix-based systems (Ubuntu/Debian is a plus).

• Understanding of web services-based solutions (REST specifically).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work well with others as part of a team and across teams.

• Ability to break down more significant initiatives into manageable pieces.

• Upper-intermediate level of English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Preprocessor (LESS/Sass).

• Experience working with offshore teams.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in developing a feature connected with complex back-end logic for the client-worker part.

• Take part in team meetings, including daily stand-ups and backlog refinement sessions.

• Provide code refactoring when needed.
