Senior Data Analyst
Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Data Analyst for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client runs an television network everages various data and tech to enable targeting messaging.
This role sits at the intersection of data, advertising measurement, sales, product, and client strategy. The work transforms large-scale mobile location signals, advertising campaign delivery data, and audience data, purchasing data, and third-party measurement sources into clear, actionable business intelligence for major brands, agencies, and strategic partners. The position will play a critical role in building and supporting a proactive advertising campaign analytics program, including in-flight campaign performance analysis, post-campaign reporting, audience insights, optimization recommendations, upsell opportunities, and long-term customer growth strategies. The ideal candidate is strong in SQL, comfortable working with large and complex datasets, and able to translate campaign performance data into a clear business narrative for internal teams and client-facing use. The role will also require modern analytics practices, including the effective use of GenAI tools, custom prompts, automated workflows, and AI-assisted analysis to improve speed, quality, consistency, and scalability across recurring reporting and campaign insight generation.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Senior Data Analyst, Data Analyst, Advertising Analyst, Campaign Analyst, Marketing Analyst, Measurement Analyst, Quantitative Analyst, or comparable role.
Degree in an analytical field such as Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, or a related discipline.
Advanced knowledge of SQL, including complex joins, aggregations, window functions, data validation, and performance-aware querying against large datasets.
Strong experience with advertising campaign analysis, media analytics, audience analytics, campaign performance reporting, or marketing measurement.
Understanding of large datasets and cloud-based data environments, ideally AWS, Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar platforms.
Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis, automation, statistical analysis, or reporting workflows.
Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with advertising measurement, media planning, campaign performance reporting, attribution, reach/frequency analysis, audience segmentation, and marketing effectiveness concepts.
Experience with Nielsen, NMI, MRI-Simmons, iSpot, or comparable media/audience Measurement platforms is strongly preferred.
Experience with geospatial analysis, spatial data, location-based datasets, or mobility data is highly desirable.
Solid foundational knowledge of descriptive statistics, predictive statistics, data modeling, and analytical quality control.
Proficiency with Unix commands, regular expressions, and repeatable data workflows.
Practical experience using GenAI tools for analytics, prompt development, QA, documentation, workflow automation, and business reporting is highly desirable.
Strong ability to analyze advertising campaign data and turn it into a clear, communicable business value proposition.
Proven track record of investigative analysis, including getting to the root cause of hard data and campaign performance questions.
Strong attention to accuracy, methodology, and data integrity, with the pragmatism to deliver high-quality work on business timelines.
Ability to connect campaign analytics to revenue outcomes, client retention, campaign optimization, upsell opportunities, and sales enablement.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex analysis to non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
Critical thinker who can challenge assumptions, identify better approaches, and recommend practical next steps.
Strong interest in using modern AI-enabled tools to improve analytical productivity, reporting consistency, and campaign insight generation.
Be comfortable working with imperfect data, asking the right questions, validating outputs, and helping sales and leadership understand what campaign performance means and what action should follow.
Responsibilities:
Build clear, accurate, and business-relevant reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for advertising campaign performance, audience delivery, inventory, and measurement analysis.
Move from raw campaign logs to business insight, from
audience and delivery data to client-ready narratives, and from one-off campaign reports to scalable always-on analytics programs.
Support an always-on advertising campaign analytics program, including in-flight pacing insights, optimization opportunities, post-campaign wrap reports, and recommendations for renewals.

Analyze advertising campaign delivery, exposure, audience composition, reach, frequency, geography, airport/venue performance, creative performance, and other key campaign metrics.
Work with internal and third-party measurement sources, including Nielsen, NMI, MRI-Simmons, iSpot, audience models, ad-serving logs, campaign delivery logs, and related datasets.
Translate complex campaign data into concise, client-ready insights and value propositions for Sales, Marketing, Product, and Executive teams.
Develop a deep understanding of internal data architecture, advertising campaign workflows, audience datasets, measurement methodology, and the relationships between key data sources.
Automate frequent campaign reporting requests and recurring analytical workflows to improve efficiency, quality control, and scalability.
Use GenAI tools and custom prompts to accelerate campaign analysis, QA, documentation, visualization ideation, reporting narratives, and repeatable insight generation.
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, Ad Operations, and Finance to answer hard data questions, improve data quality, and identify opportunities for new data products.
Investigate campaign anomalies, validate assumptions, reconcile data across systems, and ensure reporting outputs are accurate, defensible, and business-ready.
Support ad hoc strategic analysis related to audience value, campaign performance, inventory opportunities, airport and venue coverage, pricing support, and client growth potential.
