DevOps engineer (Azure)

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a DevOps Azure Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Poland. Our client is a leading global provider that involves gathering information and reporting to enhance the environmental and social impacts on the business.

You’ll be part of a global team supporting multiple SaaS environments that help make the world a safer place. The team uses Azure as the core, but hosts on multiple platforms due to specific needs and the rapid pace of development and acquisition. The environment is rapidly shifting from IaaS to PaaS to serverless. So you’ll need to apply your current skill sets and learn new things daily to push the business forward. While you’ll ultimately need a diversity of expert-level skills to succeed, having a deep understanding and experience in just a couple of areas (monitoring, scripting, automation tools, etc) may get you in the door to a great career.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of commercial experience with Azure cloud.

• Advanced experience with Azure DevOps.

• Solid foundation in either IT or software engineering.

• Knowledge of CI/CD.

• Strong knowledge of Terraform on Azure, Ansible, and Kubernetes.

• In-depth understanding of Azure YAML Pipelines, Azure Log Analytics.

• Expertise in scripting.

• Understanding of system or network engineering.

• Understanding of cloud-based networking (VNets, App Gateways, etc.).

• Understanding system or network engineering.

• Knowledge of Azure Private endpoints.

• Familiarity with VNets integration.

• Familiarity with Azure private DNS zones.

• Experience in the deployment and troubleshooting of web applications.

• Experience in web app deployment and troubleshooting.

• The ability to learn and apply new technologies and techniques quickly is imperative.

• A self-starter, team-focused, and driven to improve the environments you support consistently.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple disciplines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the engineering team during all project phases.

• Provide planning and building of (Azure cloud) infrastructures and architecture concepts, including clean documentation.

• Develop best practices and actively encourage regular knowledge transfer.
