Automation QA Engineer (with Playwright)
Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for an Automation QA Engineer with Playwright for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Poland. Our client is a leading global provider that involves gathering information and reporting to enhance the environmental and social impacts on the business.
It will involve working across multiple time zones until 7 PM CET with a QA team in Vietnam and developers in Europe and Canada. There is a 50/50 split between manual/automation testing.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience as QA.
Experience in testing web and client-server-based applications.
Strong experience using Playwright/TypeScript framework, but also a Selenium/Ruby framework, although Playwright would be preferable.
Understanding of API testing for working with an automated Postman suite.
Expertise in developing test plans/test cases.
Understanding developing automation scripts using one or more programming languages, preferably TypeScript/JavaScript.
Understanding the use of CI/CD tools and processes.
The ability to work independently across multiple product squads.
Strong communication skills in English.
Responsibilities:
Communicate the status of testing initiatives to stakeholders.
Take responsibility for creating and implementing test plans and test strategy.
Continually improve the testing infrastructure, tools, and processes.
Conduct Test Execution, Result Analysis, create and distribute QA metrics and reports.
Provide Defect Management, Identification of defect sources, and risk reporting
Contribute to support project quality activities. Provide high-quality engineering support during project design, development, and implementation.
Work with engineers, product owners, and the project lead to triage and prioritize issues for resolution. Take part in Root Cause Analysis for incidents.
Collaborate closely with developers and Product Owners to ensure high product quality and reliable releases.
