Join a long-term project for a leading Austrian energy provider and work on designing and implementing integration solutions and APIs using IBM webMethods.You’ll collaborate with international and local teams, building scalable integrations in hybrid and cloud environments, ensuring smooth data exchange across critical business systems.

Responsibilities

Core (Developer & Senior Developer):

• Implement integrations and APIs based on IBM webMethods (on-premises, hybrid, and cloud)

• Work with data exchange technologies such as XML, REST, JSON, SAP RFC, IDoc, and OData

• Design integration solution patterns in collaboration with architecture and development teams

• Create API specifications (OpenAPI 2.0 / 3.0)

• Participate in Agile teams for development and maintenance of integration and B2B solutions

• Support DevOps activities across the development lifecycle

  
  

Additional (Senior Developer):

• Analyze and design API and integration architectures

• Gather and structure integration requirements

• Define user stories, reusable specifications, and solution patterns

• Ensure compliance with data/process modeling and IT architecture principles

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and guide development teams

• IBM webMethods (Flow Services, Java Services, Integration Server)

  • JDBC Adapter, SAP Adapter, Kafka Adapter, Cloud Streams

  • API Gateway, Developer Portal

  • BPMS & CAF (development and maintenance)

• CI/CD & DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, SoapUI, IwTest

• Proven experience with IBM webMethods in integration projects

• Strong understanding of API design and data exchange technologies

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
