The project:

Our client is building unifying technologies that bring transparency, trust, and equity to the entire healthcare community with a focus on pharmaceutical pricing. Their success is measured when they can empower all of healthcare to focus more on improving the health of people.

As a Data Analyst, you will work on the Engineering team to provide data and analysis to ensure that they make data-driven decisions. For the position, they're looking for a team member who will live their values of Collaboration, Inspired, Steadfast, Courageous, and Excellence.

You will be responsible for:

- Work hands-on with data capture, data extraction, analysis, reporting, and visualization to drive data-driven decision-making

- Perform ad-hoc tasks/reporting/analyses ensuring data integrity and validity of reporting

- Build and manage data visualization tool Tableau

- Partner with stakeholders to resolve key data issues involving the quality and consistency of data for analytical purposes

- Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Success, and other teams to deliver reports and insights for business functions and key performance metrics

- Enhance the organization's capabilities for self-service data and analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information management, IT
• 5+ years of progressive experience in a report writing, data analysis, or business intelligence analysis role
• 3+ years of strong experience in data visualization tool Tableau
• 5+ years excellent experience of complex SQL query writing on Snowflake, MS SQL Server etc.
• 2+ years of experience working with scripting language like Python
• 2+ years of experience working with GitHub, Jira and Confluence
• 1+ years of experience or working knowledge of ELT tool like DBT
• Demonstrated a combination of business acumen, aptitude, and interest in working with technology, and storytelling to harness value and impact of insights
• Accuracy and attention to detail; critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills using a methodical and logical approach

Nice to have:

• You have a strong inclination to work in rapidly developing and expanding organizations and possess the necessary background to do so. You are well-acquainted with the fast-paced, high-volume, and uncertain nature of operations in the organization, and perceive it as a chance to deliver significant outcomes
• Previous experience working with drug claims data and the healthcare industry preferred
