Java Full Stack Developer (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite in Kraków, Poland)

We are looking for a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our team in Kraków. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week onsite, offering the opportunity to work on modernizing enterprise systems and building scalable, cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support scalable services, microservices, and applications (both backend and frontend) using Java (11/17/21) and modern web technologies such as React

• Contribute to the modernization of legacy systems, including migration from mainframe and IBM WebSphere to API-driven and microservices-based architectures

• Help reduce operational costs and system complexity through modern engineering practices

• Improve testing efficiency by implementing and expanding automated testing frameworks

• Enhance Straight-Through Processing (STP) capabilities across services and platforms

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Java (11 or higher); experience with Java 17+ is highly preferred

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments

• Proficiency with Git for version control

• Strong command of Unix/Linux systems and CLI tools

• Solid experience with databases and SQL (Oracle preferred)

• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

• Familiarity with HTTP/web technologies and JavaScript

Nice to Have

• Experience with Reactjs for frontend development

• Background working in a DevOps-oriented delivery team

• Knowledge of application monitoring and observability tools

• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
