Strategic Staffing Solutions International client - a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management company is looking for a Full Stack developer in Warsaw.
Description of project - Project is aimed at improving the credit risk management capabilities for the Commercial Real Estate lending portfolio including building new metrics and workflows to manage, monitor and reporting risk effectively.
What do you need to be successful in this role:
- Min. 3 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with a focus on ETL Processes and integration.
- Expertise in the following back and frontend technologies: Java and React.
- Understanding of database technologies such as Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ including Snowflake.
- Ability to understand business concepts and convert them into logical data models in a firm proprietary modeling language.
- Ability to read and understand existing code and debug.
- Prior experience building ETL processes and interaction with data.
Nice to have:
- Prior experience or willingness to learn Slang Infrastructure (Proprietary programming language)
- Prior experience or willingness to learn Alloy
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions using Java for backend and React for frontend.
- Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Work with database technologies like Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ, and Snowflake.
- Design and optimize database schemas and write complex SQL queries.
- Build metrics and workflows to manage, monitor, and report on credit risk.
- Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights.
- Read, understand, and debug existing codebases.
- Refactor and optimize code for performance.
- Translate business concepts into logical data models using the firm's proprietary language.
- Learn and utilize proprietary programming languages and infrastructures as needed.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
