Camunda Senior (Java) Developer

About the project: 

We are looking for Camunda Senior (Java) Developer for Stepwise, Warsaw-based Software House, who would like to join an engineering-oriented company. Currently for one of our clients from Denmark we are looking for a well-skilled consultant who would like to join a newly launched project. 

The project focuses on digital transformation by migrating business process management systems from IBM to Camunda. 

We are initially looking for 4 team members who will play a key role in shaping the project's success. From March 2025, we will be expanding to a team of 20, so those who join early will have a great opportunity to stand out and make an impact.

As part of this project, we are seeking a candidate who is available to travel to Denmark three times per week during the first six months of the project. This will be essential for hands-on collaboration with the team and key stakeholders during the migration process. After the initial period, occasional travel to Denmark will be required for planning sessions and strategic discussions. All travel expenses, including flights and accommodations, will be fully covered by the company.

Requirements:

• Min. 5 years of Camunda 7/8 experience
• Excellent BPMN notation modeling ability. 
• Being able to comprehend complex business requirements and model these into flows. 
• Understand and work with JAVA code and Spring Boot. 
• Understand and work with APIs and micro services.
• Understanding of AWS 
• Good knowledge of English (min. B2 level)
• Ability to travel abroad 

Nice to have:

• Camunda 8 certification

Responsibilities:

• Designing and modeling business processes in Camunda Modeler in accordance with the BPMN standard
• Implementing business processes using Camunda technology and integrating with existing banking systems
• Collaborating with developers and analysts on creating extensions and integrations using Java and Spring Boot
• Modeling and setting up the underlying process orchestration layer for several new product approval .
• The processes can go through various stages and have various complexities. It is the hired consultant(s)’s responsibility to model the processes in Camunda and implement the business logic of the process and subsequent notification setup of the users of the system.
• The Camunda process will integrate to the Banks Enterprise Product Repository and get data feeded from this using microservices. The Camunda instance will also send data back to the Enterprise Product Repository.
