ON CALL DUTY: Yes, on call duty during night/weekend alternating with colleagues in Germany
he service starts and ends every Monday, i.e. every week. The on-call service is covered 24/7 and is activated by SMS from the monitoring systems and/or by a call from an authorized person to report the fault.
Main task:
Planning, design, installation and development of the Linux server landscape based on Ubuntu, as well as administration and maintenance of highly available openStack clouds
- Carrying out performance, capacity and availability management of the Linux servers
- Ensuring operational operation using a trouble ticket system (trouble shooting, second/third level support)
- Adaptation and creation of automation processes and automatic system configurations (scripting)
- IT security support for the implementation of hardening/securing the server systems and the services running on them
- On-call, 2nd/3rd line of support

- No plans on moving to public cloud
- Monitoring is a responsibility of a different team
