Test Lead Engineer (Android Java / Automotive Infotainment)

Tech stack:

Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of Java and experience in testing Java applications

• Strong background in Android environment testing

• Familiarity with Android virtual environments (e.g. Cuttlefish)

• Experience with ADP interface

• Strong leadership and coordination skills

• Ability to interface with both technical teams and project management

• Fluent in English (min. B2 level)

• Location: Kraków (with flexibility to visit customer’s office)

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the Automotive industry, especially Infotainment systems

• Familiarity with CI/CD testing integration

• Experience using Tradefed

Project description:

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead to join a new project focused on Android-based Automotive Infotainment systems for a global customer. The project involves functional and performance testing of interconnected infotainment applications such as Navigation, Speech, and App Store, including CPU load and memory usage testing.

Testing will be conducted using the Android Cuttlefish virtual environment and the Tradefed test framework. The long-term goal is to move toward test automation and connect the testing environment to the CI/CD pipeline.

You will lead a team of 9 Test Engineers, work closely with the customer’s technical leads, and collaborate with the Spyrosoft PM. The position is based in Kraków with occasional visits to the customer’s office. The project is currently planned to run until December 31st, 2025, with a possibility of extension depending on customer needs.

Main responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of 9 Test Engineers

• Ensure proper execution of test scenarios and compliance with use cases

• Support integration of tests with CI/CD pipelines

• Report progress to internal and external stakeholders

• Act as the main technical point of contact for the customer

• Participate in technical workshops and planning sessions in Kraków
